saw a scene of an ah ma feeding the kid hot milk tea using the saucer of the coffee cup.
it makes me think of you.
you never fail to pour half of your teh'o into the saucer and give it to me when it cools down.
making sure i get my freshly made youtiao every morning;
telling the aunty, "i dont care. my granddaughter wants to eat."
special yongtaufoo with 3 fishballs and 2 quail eggs with small portion of yellow noodles.
it lingers in my mind.

went to visit ah ma yesterday,
reached there, sat on the sofa, and i nearly asked..
"eh, yeye lei? sleeping ah?"
it then dawned on me that he's no longer here..
i swear those words nearly came out of my mouth.
true enough, i still could accept the fact.
after which, i received a sms from my freshie.
telling me that CER is taking a updated class photo.
and all the mentors/LLs/diphead are invited cause WE ARE PART OF CER.
it's super sweet and it kind of gave me a smile on my face. (:
and weekdays are the most boring days of mine.
clocking in at 9am, restaurant city-ing till 12pm, lunch till 2pm, facebook-ing till 5.30pm.
and finally, clocking out at 5.30pm. :D
lunch at ikea, tampines1, ajisen, and airport for popeye! :D

forgive me if i've missed out some events.

▪ bkk with zhenyi and hero.
▪ cambodia for community work.
▪ stone grill with hero.
▪ mtc with topmodels.
▪ weekzero with CER.▪ humanwheelbarrow with hero.
it has been a fruitful and tough year for me.
going thru yeye's funeral was the hardest thing for me.
from the night he went into A&E till now,
i still could accept the fact that he's gone.
i tried. very hard.
this matter brought me and sis closer.
cos we both knows how we're feeling best.
yeye was such an important person to us.
my heart sank every single time i read her post.
even thou it's not the first time reading,
tears just fall uncontrollable.
p/s: i'm going to visit you tmr. i've got tons to tell you. [:
on a happier note,
this year's orientation was the best i could say.
with all the super enthu freshies and my hottest mentors. (:
it left a deep impact in my heart when one of the freshie said.. "you were the best. the camp wont be as fun if you're not here with us."
i smiled. it was encouraging. seriously. (:
